Chad Paulin, Owner
CMP Trades, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Chad Paulin. Chad graduated from Center Grove High School in 1988 and began working in building trades. He went on to graduate from Vincennes University in 1990 earning an Associate’s Degree in Construction. In 1990 he began his career with Sanjo Plumbing as a plumbing apprentice, becoming a licensed plumber in 1993 and a Master Plumber in 1995. He then formed CMP Trades, Inc.
In 2020, CMP moved its location from Trafalgar to Bargersville. This move allowed CMP to be closer to their customers and the tremendous growth happening in southern Johnson County and the Bargersville area.
Chad lives with his wife, Mindy, in Trafalgar. In his free time, Chad enjoys fishing, hunting, and raising cattle.
Tony Shireman, New Construction Supervisor
Tony earned his Journeyman Plumber license in 1997, and he has been a valued employee of CMP Plumbing since 2005. Tony is a graduate of Franklin Community High School and during Junior and Senior year, he was a student of Central Nine Building Trades Program. Tony has been plumbing since his Senior Year of high school!
Tony and his wife, Jennifer, have been lifetime residents of Johnson County. In his free time, he enjoys working with his wife at her store, Vintage Whismy, located in Franklin. Tony also enjoys organizing and working the 2nd Saturday Antique Market at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. You might also find Tony restoring and showing antique farming tractors.
Dave Gabbard, Service Manager
Dave has been with CMP Plumbing since 2020. Dave earned his Journeyman Plumber license in 1998. In 2021, Dave also became a Certified Backflow Inspector, adding to his list of skills. Dave is known to his customers for always going above and beyond, and always making them laugh!
Dave lives in Whiteland and has one grown son. When not working, Dave enjoys working on cars.
Laura Huffman, Office Manager
Laura joined CMP Plumbing in 2019. Laura is a graduate of Center Grove High School, and she earned a B.S. in Telecommunications from Ball State University. Laura performs office duties as well as scheduling plumbing service customers.
Living in Greenwood with her husband David and daughter Grace, when not working Laura travels frequently with her daughter’s softball team. She also enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Mindy Paulin, Marketing & Promotions
Mindy is a graduate of Center Grove High School and Oklahoma State University. Mindy is the President/CEO of The Blue Collar Recruiter and Trade School in Indianapolis. She also is a creative force for CMP Plumbing regarding print, internet, and radio advertising and promotions.
Mindy has never met a stranger, and always has a smile on her face!
