An ejector pump (sometimes referred to as a “Lift Station”) moves waste (from a washing machine or bathroom) from your basement up into the main sewer line at ground level. There is a sewage tank installed below ground and when this reaches a certain level, the ejector pump is triggered. This pump then sends fluids and solids out and into the main sewage line. CMP Plumbing uses Zoeller pumps. These pumps are 100% factory tested in water before they are ever shipped to suppliers.
